New Robbie Williams video ‘Shame’ premieres

Robbie Willams has unveiled the video for his brilliant brand new single, ‘Shame’, a duet with Gary Barlow. This is the first time the newly re-united Take That members have been seen on screen together in fifteen years. Watch it now here:

‘Shame’ is released October 4. The track is taken from Robbie’s forthcoming album ‘In And Out Of Consciousness: Greatest Hits 1990-2010′ which is out a week later on October 11. The album features 39 songs from Robbie’s 20 year career, here’s a little sampler of what to expect:

Congratulations to Tinie Tempah and Gorillaz who lead the BT Digital Music Awards nominations with five apiece. Also nominated are Robbie Williams, Kylie, 30 Seconds To Mars, Deadmau5, Professor Green and Roll Deep.

Robbie Williams, Tinie, Roll Deep and Professor Green are nominated in four public vote categories – Best Male, Best Song, Best Newcomer, Best Video – so show your support by voting at DMA website. Voting closes on September 23 September and the awards take place at The Roundhouse in London on September 30.

Set on continuing his current UK chart domination, Tinie Tempah has just released the video for his brilliant third single, ‘Written In he Stars’ featuring Eric Turner, check it out below:

Robbie Williams to headline Help For Heroes concert

Robbie Williams has been confirmed as the headliner for a concert in Twickenham in the UK on Sunday September 12 for the Help For Heroes concert which will honour the service of the men and women in the British military.

Says Robbie: “I am honoured to be a part of this show and to help draw attention to the amazing job done by our servicemen and women throughout the world. Their dedication to our country is phenomenal and we are all so proud of them.”

The line-up for the concert also includes James Blunt, Alexandra Burke, The Faces, Pixie Lott, Plan B and The Saturdays. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday August 4, at 9am UK time. More information is available on Robbie’s website.

Robbie Williams to star in his own video game

EMI and Nordic Games are teaming up to launch a brand new video game featuring the music of Robbie Williams.

‘We Sing Robbie Williams’ will be released to tie-in with Robbie’s upcoming definitive greatest hits album, ‘In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010”, which is due out in October.

The new video game, the first ever to star Robbie, will feature 25 of his tracks to sing along to, all accompanied by the original videos. It will be available for Wii in October.

Robbie confirms greatest hits double album, duet with Gary Barlow

Robbie Williams will release his brand new single, ‘Shame’, co-written and performed with Gary Barlow, through EMI’s Virgin Records on October 4. This is the first time the two have written and recorded a song together snice Robbie’s departure from Take That in 1995.

The song is taken from Robbie’s forthcoming fully comprehensive two CD collection – ‘In And Out Of Consciousness – The Greatest Hits 1990-2010′ which will be released on October 11.

‘In And Out Of Consciousness – The Greatest Hits 1990-2010′ will contain 39 tracks and chronicles Robbie’s 20-year career which has seen him sell a staggering 57 million albums and 11 million singles and become the biggest selling solo artist in UK history.

On making the announcement, Robbie said: “It’s incredible to listen to the album and realise that it’s already been 20 years of making music and playing gigs. And the great thing about the album is that it’s not only a celebration of my past but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me.”

Three Lions back for World Cup

The football World Cup is fast approaching and next Monday, May 17, Parlophone will release a new version of the greatest England football song ever written, ‘Three Lions’, re-recorded by ‘The Squad’.

Produced by the legendary Trevor Horn and featuring the song’s original writer Ian Broudie, the new version includes vocals from Robbie Williams, Russell Brand, The Official England Band and fans from The Official England Supporters Club. John Motson provides the commentary and soprano Olivia Safe provides a goose bump inducing ‘It’s coming home’. David Baddiel and Frank Skinner, the song’s original creators, also feature on the track.

Robbie Williams says: “I’ve always been approached to write football songs but have alwas declined as I thought 3 Lions could never be beaten – so I am really happy to be part of this record. I am counting down the days until the start of the World Cup.”

The World Cup, which is being held in South Africa, starts on June 11.

Nikon have launched a new campaign to promote their digital cameras called ‘I Am Nikon’ and one of the highlights of the ads is a very cool clip of Robbie Williams taking a picture of the massive crowd at one of his mammoth gigs at Knebworth in 2003.

EMI artists scoop 3 awards at Germany’s ECHOs

Congratulations to all of EMI Music’s winners at Germany’s top music industry awards which took place in Berlin last night (March 4).

Robbie Williams won Best international male, Depeche Mode took home Best international group and Best music DVD production went to Helene Fischer.

Robbie, who collected his award from German football legend Oliver Khan (above), performed a stunning version of his current single ‘Morning Sun’ to the live show audience of 4,000 and to the millions watching the show on television. Depeche Mode were also there to pick up their award in person.

Robbie, Lily and Spice Girls triumph at Brits

Congratulations to all EMI’s winners at the Brits in London last night. Lily Allen won the British Female Solo Artist award, the Spice Girls were voted the best Brits Performance of 30 Years winners, and as previously announced Robbie Williams won the Outstanding Contribution to Music honour.

The show opened with Lily descending onto the stage on a glittery rocket to perform her massive hit single ‘The Fear’. Geri Halliwell and Mel B were on hand to pick up their award on behalf of all the Spice Girls, and the evening closed with a stunning medley of classic hits and songs from his latest album ‘Reality Killed The Video Star’ by Robbie Williams.

Afterwards EMI held a party at the Supperclub in west London where, as well as Brit winners Robbie, Lily, Geri and Mel B, artists enjoying the evening included Bat For Lashes, Luke Steele from Empire Of The Sun, Doves, Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, Ed Drewett and Eliza Doolittle.
