Sir Bruce Forsyth and Twiggy join EMI Music

LONDON, 27 JUNE 2011 – EMI Music is delighted to announce the release later this year of brand new recordings from two of the UK’s foremost cultural icons, Sir Bruce Forsyth and Twiggy, through a new label partnership with music and brand management company The TCB Group.

Sir Bruce and Twiggy are each currently putting the finishing touches to their new albums, in both cases their first new recordings in many years, and both are currently expected to be released in November through the EMI/TCB label. Further details of these new albums will be announced in due course.

The TCB Group is a leading UK-based company, known for creating and developing content, combining artist management, music publishing and brand management. It works with established stars to develop music brands and events such as the hugely successful musical extravaganzas ‘Viva La Diva’ starring Katherine Jenkins and Darcey Bussell and ‘Here Comes The Girls’ featuring Lulu, Chaka Khan and Anastacia.

Andria Vidler, CEO of EMI Music UK & Ireland, said: “The new albums from Sir Bruce and Twiggy are the perfect way to launch our partnership with The TCB Group. EMI has long been the home for iconic British talent and we’re delighted to welcome Sir Bruce and Twiggy to the EMI family.”

Steven Howard, founder and CEO of The TCB Group, said: “We’re very pleased about our new partnership with EMI, starting with these first two releases from Sir Bruce and Twiggy. Creating original content with our artists is central to our vision and we’re really excited about working with the great team at EMI in developing that further.”
