Following her recent stunning European arena shows and live dates in Japan, Kylie kicks off the North American leg of her ‘Aphrodite – Live 2011′ tour tonight in Montreal before hitting the US on Friday in Boston.

The 16 shows are Kylie’s most extensive North American tour to date and  include a three-night stint at New York City’s Hammserstein Ballroom, a return to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and a closing night extravaganza at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

To celebrate the tour, EMI’s Astralwerks Records will next week, May 3, release an exclusive digital EP – ‘North American Tour Bonus Edition’ featuring five live recording, three from a semi-acoustic BBC Live Lounge session – ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,’ ‘All The Lovers’ and ‘Get Outta My Way’, and two recorded live in New York in October 2009 during Kylie’s first North American Tour – ‘Better Than Today’ and ‘Confide In Me’.

As a special fan treat the EP also includes a short film featuring behind the scenes footage of Kylie on tour plus original tour wardrobe sketches by Dolce & Gabbana.

In addition a new remix EP of ‘Put Your Hands Up’ will be released on May 31 featuring the album track and brand new remixes including the Pete Hammond remix that Kylie shared with fans recently.
