We’re very pleased to announce that conductor and arranger John Wilson and The John Wilson Orchestra have signed an exclusive contract with EMI Classics. Known for their wildly popular and enchanting performances of classic film scores, the orchestra will release their first recording through this new global joint venture with EMI this August.

A life long interest in film music led John Wilson to restore a number of classic scores including the previously lost orchestration of major MGM musicals including ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘High Society’, ‘Singin’ in the Rain’, ‘The Band Wagon’ and ‘An American in Paris’. Their wildly successful. sold-out BBC Proms appearances have been praised as ‘Technicolour for y our ears’. Says EMI Classics President Eric Dingman: “We couldn’t be more thrilled about the opportunity to work with them and to bring their recordings, and other John Wilson Orchestra products, to audiences in the UK, USA, Europe and the rest of the world.”
