The UK’s first ever national Pink Floyd treasure hunt kicked off today, inviting fans to find posters of all 14 Pink Floyd studio album sleeves which have been placed in 11 towns and cities across the UK. The hunt is part of the ‘Why Pink Floyd‘ initiative which has seen the release of special editions of key Pink Floyd albums and remastered versions of all 14 studio albums.
To enter this contest fans need to take a picture of themselves with one of the posters and upload the photo to www.webdoc.com/pinkfloyd where they can enter a competition to win a Cambridge Audio NP30 streaming music player, as well as lots of Pink Floyd goodies. The competition closes on December 12 2011.
Immersion and Experience editions of ‘The Wall‘ will be released on February 27 2012.
