‘Elektro Diskow’ marks the dawn of electro music

Back in the1980s emerging musical technologies helped give life to a brand new genre that would inspire and influence countless musicians in the coming years – electro.

Celebrating the birth of this futuristic sounding music is ‘Elektro Diskow‘, a new compilation of classic electro tracks from the EMI vaults released in conjunction with Mixmag magazine in the UK this week.

The double album includes original and remixes from artists including Roxy Music, Pet Shop Boys and The Human League as well as rarer tracks from the likes of Telex, Rehingold, Nitzer Ebb and Fad Gadget.
