We’re very excited to bring you further details of the next phase of releases from the legendary Pink Floyd – November 7th will not only see the release of ‘Immersion’ and ‘Experience’ editions of ‘Wish You Were Here’ but also ‘A Foot In The Door – The Best Of Pink Floyd’.
The five-disc ‘Wish You Were Here’ ‘Immersion’ edition includes previously unreleased material from Pink Floyd’s 1974 Wembley dates, including a 20 minute live version of ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’ plus ‘Raving And Drooling’ and ‘You’ve Got To Be Crazy’, two tracks that didn’t make it onto the original album and which were reworked to become ‘Sheep’ and ‘Dogs’ on the ‘Animals’ album. Also included, is a unique recording of ‘Wish You Were Here’ by jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli. If that wasn’t enough ‘Immersion’ also comes with an exclusive book edited by Floyd photographer Jill Furmanovsky and a 36 page booklet designed by Storm Thorgerson.
The ‘Experience’ edition of ‘Wish You Were Here’ contains the 1975 studio album remastered by James Guthrie along with previously unreleased live and studio recordings as well as a 20 page booklet designed by Storm Thorgerson.
Also released on November 7th is ‘A Foot In The Door – The Best Of Pink Floyd’, a CD compiliation of career-spanning Pink Floyd tracks chosen by David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Nick Mason, with new accompanying artwork by Storm Thorgerson.

One Comment so far. Leave a comment below. Why oh why are EMI not releasing the SACD version of Wish You Were Here in the UK
They are a British Band but only USA has the SACD version
This is a very poor decision, I am sure there are many UK fans that would want to buy the SACD version, after all even The playstation will play these discs and with a home cinema system people could enjoy the real surround sound of this album
So common EMI get your act together, your advert say also on SACD yet we in the UK cannot buy this version
