Things just keep getting better for Tinie Tempah – his latest single ‘Written In The Stars’ was last week’s UK number one, and now he has scored a number one album with massive first week sales for his debut ‘Disc-Overy’.
The album sold 85,000 copies in the UK last week, the highest tally for a number one album since Eminem’s ‘Recovery’ 15 weeks ago. ‘Disc-Overy’ is on track to be certified gold with sales of over 100,000 this week. Tinie also has six tracks in the top 60 of the singles chart this week, further bolstering his position as the biggest selling UK singles artist of the year with over one million sold so far. Congratulations Tinie!
