Congratulations to EMI Music Japan voilinist Naoko Terai who has been presented with the prestigious Freshman Art Encouragement prize by the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The art award is sponsored by Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs and recogises individuals who have demonstrated outstanding and ground-breaking achievements in the field of art and culture.
Terai is one of the most successful violinists from Japan. She started playing at the age of four and now releases a new album and performs over 100 concerts every year. Her most recent album, ‘My Song’, was released last month.
