Congratulations to EMI Music artists nominated for MTV VMA Awards, announced today.  Katy Perry, 30 Seconds to Mars, David Guetta, Gorillaz and Coldplay were among this year’s nominees. 

The MTV VMAs will air live from L.A.’s Nokia Theatre on Sunday, Sept. 12 in the US.   MTV will performers, presenters and host as the big night approaches.

30 Seconds To Mars “Kings and Queens” – nominated for VIDEO OF THE YEAR,BEST ROCK VIDEO, BEST ART DIRECTION and BEST DIRECTION

Gorillaz “Stylo” f. Mos Def and Bobby Womack – nominated for BREAKTHROUGH VIDEO

Coldplay “Strawberry Swing” – nominated for BREAKTHROUGH VIDEO

David Guetta “Sexy Chick” f. Akon – nominated for BEST DANCE VIDEO
