Ahead of the imminent release of his seventh Capitol Records Nashville album, ‘Get Closer’, Keith Urban held a listening event yesterday to give guests a sneak peek of the new set.
During the event Urban was surprised by Capitol Records Nashville president/CEO Mike Dungan with a platinum plaque for US sales of over a million for his last album, ‘Defying Gravity’. Here he is receiving the plaque from Dungan:
All of Keith Urban’s solo albums have been certified platinum in the US.
‘Get Closer’ is released on November 16. The first single from the album is ‘Put You In A Song’, which you can see here right now:
