Ivor Novello honours for Lily Allen, Bat For Lashes

Congratulations to Lily Allen and Bat For Lashes who have won all their nominations at the prestigious Ivor Novello songwriting awards in London today, May 20.

Lily and her songwriting partner Greg Kurstin won two awards for her number one single ‘The Fear’ – Best Song Musically and Lyrically and the PRS For Music Most Performed Work prize – and the pair were named Songwriters of the Year.

Natasha Khan, aka Bat For Lashes, won the Best Contemporary Song award for ‘Daniel’.

The Ivor Novellos are held every year and are considered the UK’s most prestigious awards for songwriting.
