EMI Canada Artists tapped for prestigious Polaris Prize

Canada’s Polaris Music Prize Long List was announced today (awarded to artists for creative merit by a jury of peers) and we are proud to announce that the following EMI Music Canada Label Services albums are on the list:

Broken Social Scene – Forgiveness Rock Record    (Arts&Crafts)
Basia Bulat – Heart Of My Own     (Secret City Records)
Jason Collett - Rat A Tat Tat    (Arts&Crafts)
Hannah Georgas - This Is Good (Hidden Pony)
Plants And Animals – La La Land     (Secret City Records)
Zeus – Say Us    (Arts&Crafts)

The short list of 10 Polaris Nominees will be announced on July 6th.
