Daft Punk’s TRON: Legacy soundtrack set for December release

The original motion picture score for ‘TRON: Legacy’, composed and produced by iconic electronic duo Daft Punk has been confirmed for release through Walt Disney Records on December 6 2010. Through our partnership with Disney EMI will release the album in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Fans of the original, groundbreaking 1982 Disney film ‘TRON’, Daft Punk took on the scoring of the next chapter of the story with extraordinary thought and precision, assembling a symphony orchestra of a hundred musicians for the job. ‘TRON: Legacy’ is the first film score from the duo of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.

‘TRON: Legacy’ is a 3D high tech adventure set in a digital world quite unlike anything ever captured on the big screen, as the latest, just released, trailer shows:

‘TRON: Legacy’ is released December 17.
