Chiddy Bang played their first headlining show in NYC at the Highline Ballroom earlier this week. The guys lit the sold-out audience on fire in a frenzy of hands-in-the-air enthusiasm rarely seen from New York crowds. As is their custom, the duo did impromtu riffs off words and phrases shouted out by the audience, creating rhymes, beats and melodies on the fly from terms like “Civil Union,” “Illegal Immigration,” “New Jersey” and the NBA’s “Miami Heat.”
